To help manufacturers respond to the increasing pressure to adopt advanced technologies, the DMTC provides companies with one location for attending demonstrations, interactive workforce training, hands-on simulations, and assistance with defining a technology deployment roadmap.
Stephanie Kim, President of Telamon Robotics, remarks, “We are thrilled to not only be partnered with industry frontrunners like OnRobot and Vention to address Industry 4.0 technology but also to collaborate with Purdue University MEP to develop curriculum specifically targeted at training Indiana based workforce with the goal to enable and bring this technology to Indiana small and mid-sized businesses to drive efficiencies and productivity gains.”
Featured technologies include:
- Collaborative Robotics
- End-of-Arm Tooling
- Custom Automation Platforms
- 3D-Printing and Scanning
- Virtual and Augmented Reality Devices

The DMTC will be an evolving initiative focused on providing new and innovative solutions, as well as hosting third-party providers to present Industry 4.0 technology demonstrations. Companies interested in the center are encouraged to reach out to Purdue MEP via our Contact Us page.
“The partnership between Telamon Robotics and Purdue MEP brings critical Industry 4.0 technology to Indiana manufacturers to aid their adoption of the advanced capabilities needed to stay competitive in a continually evolving and increasing competitive global environment,” said David Snow, Executive Director, Purdue MEP.
To better assist small manufacturers who are hesitant about technology investments, training will be provided to inform manufacturers about valuable technology solutions with low capital investment and minimal maintenance requirements. These events will show small manufacturers how to deploy “quick-win” technology solutions that can be implemented in a short timeframe or in multiple phases over a longer period.
